Position Compensation Range:
$78,000.00 - $128,000.00Pay Rate Type:

Primary Accountabilities
- You will proactively identify and assess risks to our organization by leveraging a deep understanding of our business model, operational structure, and the insurance industry, as well as related sectors.
- You will lead ongoing risk assessment and monitoring activities, with a primary focus on finance, reserving, investments, and insurance product areas.
- You will foster collaboration and build strong working relationships with partners across the enterprise to enhance risk management efforts.
- You will promote a risk-aware culture throughout the organization by providing education on risk identification and management best practices.
- You will develop and oversee processes and tools that align with the enterprise's risk perspective and tolerance objectives.
- You will champion continuous improvement in analytical processes, data collection, and formal reporting.
- You will establish, enhance, and maintain comprehensive enterprise-wide reporting systems.
- You will participate in and present on cross-departmental team projects.
- You will take on additional assignments or contribute to projects as requested, based on skills, accomplishments, and experience.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- Solid knowledge and understanding of risk management methods, standards, processes, governance models, and industry standard risk analysis approaches and ability to apply them.
- Significant knowledge and understanding of finance, insurance, industry trends and adjacencies.
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating group discussions. Skills to influence these discussions are developing.
- Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience establishing positive relationships with stakeholders that allow for effective counseling and negotiating.
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing projects to their completion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in finance, reserving, investments and insurance products.
