About the Team

As Workday Grants Management transforms the experience of managing your people, grant funding, and compliance, we seek an individual with a deep understanding of higher education, government, and healthcare financial accounting needs. This includes knowledge of relevant grant funding mechanisms, regulations, accounting principles, financial reporting standards and recommended practices.

In this role, you will not only be the voice of the customer for our existing offerings, but also play a key role in crafting the product for some of the largest organization across the globe.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record in delivering research and grant management solutions. You'll become the champion for our customers, deeply understanding their specific needs and challenges through in-depth research and close collaboration. By translating their needs into actionable requirements and a compelling product vision, you'll ensure the next generation of Workday Grants Management delivers a transformational user experience and empowers them to achieve greater efficiency and actionable insights.

Leading both product discovery and delivery, you'll guide our cross-functional teams (including Engineering, QA, Services, UX, and Research) to develop and deliver simple, complete, and lovable solutions impacting key areas like award contracts, grant accounting, billing and payments, and reporting – all designed with global customers in mind. As part of our collaborative product manager team, you'll bring your fresh ideas and expertise to the table, shaping the future of Workday Grants Management and playing a pivotal role in our expansion.

About You

Are you a passionate product leader or consultant with a proven track record in research and grant management solutions? If you thrive in collaborative environments and possess the expertise to translate customer needs into actionable product visions, we encourage you to apply!

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of proven experience in product management for accounting products OR Workday consulting background implementing grants management, financial accounting or payroll accounting

• Strong accounting acumen especially with higher education, healthcare, or government.

• Accounting principles and reporting standards applicable to US and CAN

Other Qualifications:

• 4+ years of related experience as a subject matter expert, business analyst, or implementation consultant for Workday Grants Management

• 4+ years of functional domain expertise in any of the following: grants management, financial or payroll accounting, revenue/project management, billing and payments, or compliance reporting.

• Experience working with the UK public and private sector grant funding landscape (particularly in higher education, government, and healthcare).

• Strong collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional teams.

• Comfort with ambigu
