The Eclipse System Support team in our National Support Center (NSC) is looking for a Senior Eclipse Systems Administrator at their Lafayette Hill, PA office. This is a hybrid/remote role.

About the Role:

You will:
• Ensure all Eclipse servers and systems operate within business defined service level agreements.
• Proactively suggest areas for standardization and process improvements that lead to improved levels of service and system stability.
• Analyze multiple medium-difficult business problems and assess how automated systems or process changes can be implemented to solve them.
• Dig deep into the Eclipse data (SQL,TCL, Report writer) to get root cause or problem identification.
• Conduct root cause analysis in support of process improvements.
• Track production support issues, provide dependable updates within the request ticket, and ensure appropriate assignments and priorities.
• Monitor and maintain the health of all Eclipse servers.
• Monitor for and manage orphaned data/files in Linux and Universe
• Monitor interoperability to other systems and services such as Avalara, EDI, WEB, Document Imaging, phantoms, etc.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain Eclipse SQL replication.
• Review, test, document, and deploy approved configuration changes. Update tracking tickets as required.
• Ensure printer configuration standardization.
• Deploy code into the production environments as defined by the business process.
• Monitor for data errors; correct and identify source where possible.
• Be available for urgent requests, including emergency contact on nights/weekends and on-site support.
• Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as requested.

About You:
• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
• 7 or more years of industry experience with Solar Eclipse and Eclipse Basic.
• 7 or more years of experience administering Universe Database on Linux or equivalent.

• Have excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Be able to deliver outstanding customer service including the ability to handle challenging issues in a professional manner.
• Have experience working directly with software vendors for debugging and enhancements and reporting and tracking status of defects and enhancement requests.
• Be able to deliver timely resolution to change control, system updates, and break/fix issues.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and be able to work cross-functionally with other business units to gather requirements and propose solutions.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with project leads, developers, users, and other team members.
• Possess excellent documentation and organizational skills.
