Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to join our 100-person specialty chemicals and catalyst recycling plant. This role offers the opportunity to drive process optimization, lead small capital projects, and work directly on the plant floor alongside operators and technical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization and improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.
• Provide daily production support, troubleshooting plant issues in real time.
• Manage and execute small capital projects from concept through implementation.
• Collaborate closely with operators, engineers, and plant personnel to implement solutions and improvements.
• Utilize Lean or Six Sigma methodologies (a plus) to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure safe, compliant operations across unit processes such as reaction and distillation in a wet chemistry environment.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering (advanced degree preferred, not required).
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing; preferred industries include chemicals, specialty chemicals, plating chemicals, or catalyst manufacturing.
• Strong background in process optimization, process improvement, and capital project execution.
• Six Sigma certification or Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Hands-on, outgoing, and effective communicator comfortable working directly with plant personnel and operators.
