Music Teacher (K-6)

Position Purpose
Under the general supervision of the Building Principal, the music teacher should work to develop students' understanding and appreciation of the art of music, as well each student's talents in musical expression.

Qualifications/Job Description 

• Develops and administers music education curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
• Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to student learning.
• Collaborate within a Professional Learning Community.
• Provide students with opportunities to practice and perform outside of the classroom.
• Participates in faculty meetings and committees and plans for ways to support school and district initiatives as it relates to the music classroom.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
