Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for First Line Products and Quality Manager (Level K) (2nd Shift) to join our 777 Preflight and Delivery team in Everett, WA. This position is for 2nd shift.  2nd shift (typically 2:30 pm -11 pm), Monday through Friday for this role.

2nd shift (typically 2:00pm -10:30pm), Monday through Friday for this role. You may be required to work off shift, weekends and holidays in support of the facilities work statement as needed. You must participate in weekend duty rotation, approximately one (1) in every 6 weeks.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of employees responsible for evaluating and ensuring that products, services, and processes meet customer contract requirements, engineering standards, company procedures, and government regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective business plans, policies, and procedures aimed at enhancing performance and quality outcomes.
  • Create and execute organizational and technical strategies that promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Provide education and coaching on the Quality System, empowering team members to understand and uphold quality standards.
  • Make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Acquire and manage resources efficiently, leading initiatives that drive process improvements and optimize performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports to foster collaboration and success.
  • Inspire, develop, and motivate employees, cultivating a high-performance culture that embraces change and encourages professional growth.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing multi-functional teams within a Quality Management environment
  • 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams
  • Must be willing and able to work any shift (Must be able & willing to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime
  • 1+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years of experience in a production/factory environment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High energy and enthusiasm for driving cultural change and improvement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Solid business acumen with a proven ability to develop and execute successful strategies
