Job Description
NBCUniversal is seeking a Supervisor to lead a driven and highly motivated team, primarily located in Centennial, CO as part of the Program Operations team in Media Operations.
This Supervisor role will lead a team responsible for client engagement and order fulfillment for secondary distribution of NBCUniversal content to third party licensees. The position serves as the liaison between the client, internal operations teams and third-party licensees in various locations globally, to ensure accurate and reliable completion and distribution of content.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the rest of the Media Operations, Product and Engineering teams on executing fulfillment initiatives and workflow enhancements while developing strong partnerships with business partners across NBCUniversal. Reporting directly to the Manager of Media Operations, this position will aide in implementing short and long-term plans, pursue opportunities to further improve upon and automate the delivery process and increase service reliability.
Responsibilities:Ā
- Manage client engagement on behalf of Media Operations ā this may include hosting weekly meetings, reviewing issues or working with internal teams to meet client needs/manage expectations.
- Subject matter expert for all studio fulfillment program operations services, processes and related technology
- Oversee operations staff including performance reviews and employee issues, assisting with day-to-day operations and conducting training sessions
- Partner with Media Operations management team to implement new workflows that drive simplification, flexibility and scalability across all teams
- Conduct operational requirement analysis for all incoming studio fulfillment business opportunities, ensuring volume and timelines are scoped and resources are appropriately allocated
- Work closely with Product, Support, and Media operations groups to resolve any content related issues to ensure material is delivered to licensees within SLA
- Constantly measure operational quality metrics to drive rigor and accountability within the operations
- Define, document, and maintain operational processes and workflows in Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents
- Be available and on call on 24/7 basis (excluding extreme circumstances) to receive escalation and trouble shoot issues
- Must be able to work swing or overnight shift, if necessary
Qualifications
Requirements:Ā
- BA/BS in a related field and/or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in a media or post-production/entertainment environment.
- 3+ years of experience in a job using computers and software applications including MS outlook, MS Excel and the internet.
- 3+ years in a role requiring effective communication with diverse audiences, ranging from non-technical senior leadership executives to technical professionals and media operations staff.
- 3+ years in a role requiring technical skills within media management such as understanding and interpreting QC reports, and familiarity with video file specificatio
