What You’ll Learn

Project:

• Synthetic data generation for hand tracking in XR

Skills You’ll Learn:

• 3D Rendering: Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering with Blender, Unity3D (preferred), or Unreal
• Have strong skills in lighting, texture, and shading techniques for photorealistic rendering.
• Deep learning techniques: Hands-on experience in applying and modifying advanced deep learning models Image processing
• Developed skills in image processing and manipulation techniques

What You’ll Do

• Research to improve the existing hand data synthesis methods and generate photo-realistic images for desired hand gestures.
• Design and develop a user-friendly application capable of generating synthetic hand images with specific requirements
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Location:  Hybrid, working onsite at our San Diego, CA office 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

What You Bring

• Educational Background: A graduate student pursuing a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Applied Math from a reputable university with a strong academic standing is preferred.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to innovate, with a proven history of addressing complex challenges effectively.
• Team spirit: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and knowledge sharing.
• Documentation and Communication: Excellent documentation and communication skills, including the capability to clearly convey complex technical concepts.
• Knowledge Sharing: Willingness to actively share knowledge and support the growth and development of the team, contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
• Tech Trend Awareness: A commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements and trends in hand tracking.

The pay range below is for all roles at this level across all US locations and functions. Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training.
