J3A Technical Lead / Functional Manager

Responsibilities

Peraton is currently hiring a J3A Technical Lead / Functional Manager for its US Cybercom program. 

 

Location: full-time, on-site position at Fort Meade, MD.

 

Responsibilities:

• Serve as first-line manager for assigned Peraton personnel
• Serve as technical lead for contractor personnel supporting J3A mission area
• Serve as on-site point of contact for J3A government mission customers
• Provide technical and administrative supervision for Peraton and subcontractor personnel
• Brief senior government and military personnel regularly on both mission and contract status
• Coordinate contract deliverables (e.g., monthly status reports, trip reports, etc.)
• Facilitate contract staffing (e.g., interviews, hiring decisions, onboarding, etc.)

Qualifications

Required: 

• Minimum of 12 years of experience as a Cyberspace Analyst, Fires (Targets) Analyst, Intelligence Analyst, Joint Operations Planner, or Operations Engineer.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing cyber teams.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and organizational skills; excellent communications skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Mi.nimum of five years of experience in cyber operations.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.

• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Active DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level III certification.

• Previous experience supporting J3 mission.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
