The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Integrated Quality team is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) based in Philadelphia, PA!
This position is located in the Philadelphia, PA area and requires on-site support of suppliers in the Mid-Atlantic region. This is an autonomous position, therefore, the candidate must have the ability to work from home or a supplier location.
Preference will be given to candidates with strong background in supplier quality processes and inspection/manufacturing of MH-139 rotorcraft.
Position Responsibilities:
Level 3:
- Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.
- Documents and reports audit and assessment results.
- Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.
- Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
- Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
- Resolves routine issues and concerns.
Level 4:
- Leads audits and assessments of complex supplier's systems, processes and products.
- Documents and reports audit and assessment results. Delegates product acceptance responsibility to suppliers.
- Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work.
- Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
- Develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity.
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience with rotorcraft / vertical lift platforms
- 3+ years of experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management
- 3+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
- 3+ years of experience quality inspection and/or auditing
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level 4: 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- More than 5 years of experience working in Supplier Quality processes
- Experience working with Supplier Quality Systems (i.e. SQIS, QDSS or similar)
- 1+ year of experience in the Government Aircraft MRO Operations
- Experience in manufacturing and/or inspection processes for MH-139 platform
- Experience with MH-139 maintenance and logistics operations
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for mid-level (Level 3): USD 94,350 – 127,650
Summary pay range for senior level (Level 4): USD 109,650 – 148,350
