Key Responsibilities
Prepares project plans and drives the project from conception and planning to implementation. Will participate in the development of strategies, processes, and resources.
Leads the implementation, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the 6S Program across Santa Clara Lab Operations, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and site‑specific operational needs.
Manages project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software.
Conducts site-wide 6S audits, develops corrective action plans, and partners with functional owners to ensure timely closure and measurable improvement.
Coordinates allocated resources from within the Division to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project. Initiates and manages purchase requisitions, and purchase orders.
Collaborates with cross‑functional teams (Manufacturing, Logistics, Facilities, EHS, Quality) to embed 6S principles into daily operations, engineering labs, and cleanroom environments.
Drives cost schedule performance of equipment for internal and external customers and vendors worldwide.
Participates on multifunctional design teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete projects. Provides technical input to team members to achieve project goals.
Champions visual management, standard work, floor marking, labeling, and workplace organization to support safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Interfaces and coordinates within the division to define project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment.
Provides engineering and business process expertise to team and other members on various standard programs / issues.
Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution.
Serves as the program owner for 6S tools and systems (e.g., PowerApps audit tools, SharePoint action trackers), maintaining version control, reporting, and dashboard visibility.
Facilitates Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops that integrate 6S principles to reduce waste, improve flow, and sustain operational gains.
Partners with leadership to ensure 6S behaviors are reinforced through coaching, recognition, and aligned performance expectations.

- Applies 6S methodology to optimize workplace organization, safety, visual controls, and operational flow across complex manufacturing and lab environments
