As the Enterprise Risk Program Manager, you will work closely with C-suite and other senior leaders throughout the company to facilitate conversations about the company’s most important business objectives. This is a unique opportunity with board and executive-facing accountabilities that let you see the entire business and develop transferable skills that apply to leadership in a multitude of fields.
As a thought leader, your work will positively impact our customers as you:
- Work with the Director of ERM and/or independently to schedule, plan and facilitate workshops for senior leaders to identify, articulate and explore the obvious/not obvious, roadblocks that could affect our strategic goals
- Collaborate with other risk management areas (e.g., Strategic Development, Internal Audit, Regulatory Affairs) to identify enterprise risks/threats for discussion and analysis
- Work closely with the Director of Enterprise Risk Management and the company’s leaders on sustaining and improving upon risk management plans
- Develop/sustain risk visualization templates/reports for top management and the Audit Committee
- Monitor/track risk and mitigation statuses
What you’ll do:
- Support and/or lead development and implementation of an annual plan of risk assessment activities, including periodic Executive Risk Management Committee meetings, regulatory filings and risk training opportunities for the business. Monitor plan execution and update plan throughout the year as priorities change.
- Independently conduct/facilitate risk assessments, supporting stakeholders/business leaders across the enterprise in quantifying exposure/impact of potential risks and balancing remediation plan development with risk appetite. Ensure work product is reflected in the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platform for use in executive and enterprise-wide reporting.
- Design dashboards, consolidated risk management reports that communicate ongoing risk exposure and progress toward risk mitigation. Audiences include department, division, and C-suite leaders, as well as the Executive Risk Management Committee and the Audit and Compliance Committee of Premera’s Board of Directors.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Internal Audit, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs and Strategic Development to identify enterprise risks/threats and competitive opportunities that should be elevated to the Executive Risk Management Committee for discussion/analysis.
- Regularly review risk assessment tools and models to ensure ongoing alignment with risk and controls reviews performed throughout the organization (e.g., Internal Audit, Compliance & Ethics, IT, Business Continuity). Recommend/implement improvements, as appropriate.
- Execute annual planning/delivery of the ORSA Report, and support delivery of the Form F, CGAD, and other regulatory reports and/or responses to regulatory inquiries.
- Lead and manage special projects as assigned.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor's Degree or four (4) years of relevant experience (Required)
- 5 years' intensive financial or operational risk management experience (Required)
- Experience using and/or administering a governance, risk and compliance platform (Required)
