As a full-time Recruiting Coordinator (RC), you will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations of hiring practices, including carrying out administrative services and providing direct support to the Director of Recruitment, Director of Human Resources & Recruitment and legal recruiters. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace. Prior recruitment experience is preferred but not required.
Essential Duties:
- Handles daily administrative tasks.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested.
- Communicates with candidates and hiring teams via phone and email.
- Ensures applicant tracking system is accurately maintained.
- Assists in planning on-campus and in-office interviews, including, but not limited to, creating interview schedules, distributing supporting materials, obtaining space, and assisting candidates with travel and expense reimbursement.
- Provides administrative support for internship programs and scholarship initiatives.
- Occasionally conducts phone interviews with candidates.
- Assists with organizing internal events including booking conference rooms, ordering catering, maintaining headcount, and sending calendar invites.
- Performs research on specific programs and events.
- Assist office administrators with administrative staff searches using LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Advanced verbal and written skills including strong command of spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Interpersonal skills to maintain strong client and co-worker relationships.
- Highly organized and has acute attention to detail.
- Confidential and dependable.
- Types a minimum of 60 wpm.
- Intermediate knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Nuance PDF.
- Minimum of high school diploma required.
- Standing and walking regularly, up to two hours per day.
- Sitting position, static for up to one-half hour at a time, up to six hours per day.
- Lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Bending and stooping regularly, up to one hour per day.
