Store Manager, Rochester

Description

The wage range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 annual, commensurate with experience. People’s Food Coop offers health insurance, retirement plan benefits, 20% store discount, paid time off and access to other benefit programs.

Overview

The Store Manager oversees the store’s daily operations and works with all employees to make sure the store runs smoothly and efficiently while providing a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Select, train, develop, mentor, and coach Department Managers in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
• Lead the store in all areas of operations including inventory, margins, sales per labor hour, customer service excellence, and financial performance.
• Maintain outstanding retail execution and customer service in the store.
• Review and monitor scheduling, purchases, and other expenses to ensure departments and store are within budget.
• Regularly inspect the store to ensure compliance with all programs and standards.
