Launched in 2016, the Enterprise business has grown rapidly and now serves 7,250+ enterprises around the world. Coursera for Campus, which launched in 2019, is one of the fastest growing verticals of the Enterprise team and is looking for its new Worldwide Global Go To Market Leader.
Coursera for Campus is advising universities on the skills of the future & helps them to use the Coursera content to develop their student’s skills. In this role, you will lead the strategy to grow this segment to a billion dollar trajectory. In this senior individual contributor role you will be the resident expert leading a cross functional team of Product, Content, and Technology team to become the default solution for complementary industry content backed by global credit recommendation and for-credit content for public and private universities worldwide. In addition you will partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to drive execution and reach our revenue goals. As the expert in residence, you will advise global university decision makers (Deans, Provosts, Chancellors, Rectors) on how they can build the university of the future by using Coursera’s solution. You will also help to influence Coursera’s go-to-market strategy for Coursera for Campus, develop thought leadership, and support marketing activities.
Responsibilities:
- Set the strategy and vision for growth for Coursera for Campus.
- Partner with a cross functional team of Product, Content, and Technology team to become the default solution for complementary industry content backed by global credit recommendation and for-credit content for public and private universities worldwide.
- Be a global expert and provide thought leadership on online education.
- Showcase Coursera’s solution to university decision makers (ministers of education, chancellors, rectors, etc.) across AMER, EMEA and APAC. Own Coursera’s C4C go-to-market strategy, develop thought leadership materials and support Coursera’s marketing activities (e.g. conferences, webinars etc.).
- Own and drive Coursera for Campus revenue by partnering with customer-facing teams to sell, expand and renew deals.
- Be the resident “C4C Executive-Sponsor” Sales and Customer Success team members can call on to elevate ongoing discussions with customers and prospects.
- 50% travel globally.
Basic Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in senior higher education roles.
- Experience engaging with senior executives in the higher education industry.
- Sales Leadership experience.
- Experience presenting at global higher education conferences.
- Experience in online education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A deep understanding of higher education business models in a role such as Associate Dean, Vice Provost, Department Head.
