We are currently seeking a Project Site Security Manager, reporting directly to the Site Construction Director / Manager, to join our Security team based in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, United States.
About the Job
As Project Site Security Manager for the Commonwealth LNG (CWLNG) project, you will lead the physical security, risk management, and emergency management programs for a large-scale LNG construction site. This is a critical site leadership role, embedded within the project management team, with direct accountability for protecting people, assets, operations, and reputation.
You will act as the security subject matter expert for the project, providing strategic guidance to construction and project leadership while overseeing day-to-day security operations both on-site and off-site. The role includes managing private security providers, developing and implementing security and emergency response plans, conducting risk assessments, leading incident response, and promoting a strong security culture across the project.
This position reports directly to the TEN Site Construction Director/Manager with a functional (dotted-line) reporting relationship to the Head of Security – Americas, based in the Houston Operating Center. You will work closely with internal stakeholders including Construction Management, HSE, Legal, People & Culture, and Project Leadership, as well as external partners such as owners, contractors, local authorities, and emergency responders.
Travel: Primarily site-based with limited domestic travel as required.

Job Description
- Provide security subject matter expertise to the project and project managers.
- Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with project managers and client representatives.
- Review and update the site security plan, emergency response plan, and transportation for project staff.
- Monitor and control implementation of meet and greet protocols, and secure transportation to/from the construction site and/or accommodation to prevailing security conditions, risks, and threats.
- Conduct security awareness training, notably the site security induction, and topic specific security training.
- Identify and report project security key performance indicators (KPI) on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Manage response to security incidents and ensure proper classification, notification, investigation, and reporting.
- Keep project management and staff informed on relevant security threats and risks through security alerts and advisories with the approval of the Project Director, and the Houston Operating Center / Americas Security Manager.
- Manage private Security Provider(s):
- Regularly control the quality of execution through KPI’s
- Audit post orders, procedures, performance, and compliance.
- Monitor and control the site access control and all security electronic systems, and procedures.
- Review, update, and implement project security documentation as per client requirements.
- Review, update, and lead the emergency response plan, and training initiatives.
- Support Americas Security when required on company-wide initiatives and other programs and projects as relevant.
Requirements
- 15+ years physical security, risk and emergency management experience, or 10+ years security management experience in LNG Construction, Oil & Gas sector.
- Fluent in English (verbal & written skills).
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience.
