Securities Services Transformation Senior Associate

The Securities Services Operations Transformation team is a global function within the Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) and is seeking an Associate who will join a large and diverse team comprised of developers, project managers and change leads responsible for driving the Artificial Intelligence, Automation and Data Analytics agenda across the business unit.

As an Operations Transformation Associate in the Securities Services Operations team, you will be required to support the management of high-impact projects directly aligned to business priorities, assess new initiatives and drive opportunities through completion. Projects may include digitization/automation, artificial intelligence and/or people initiatives. The role also provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to new technologies and centers around deploying Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning enabled solutions that innovate and transform the Business in alignment to the Target Operating Model. The Associate will be required to work with the extended project team, technology teams and the business to drive change gaining an in depth understanding of cutting edge Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning intelligent automation tools, including but not limited to, Alteryx, Artificial Intelligence Messaging Service and Instabase.

Job Responsibilities:

• Gain an intermediate understanding of the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning intelligent automation tools (such as Alteryx, AI Messaging Service and Instabase) to support development of cutting edge solutions.
• Participate and drive delivery of key projects across multiple Securities Services Operations teams. This will include project planning, ensuring governance/oversight of project delivery is upheld and reporting of key metrics and status updates to management. 
• Utilize deign thinking methods in order to identify and assess high impact business opportunities.
• Validate proof of concept effectiveness to derive recommendations for the business/stakeholders to refine the automation solution and achieve stated goals.
• Provide reporting, analytical, communications and project support to management.
• Contribute to training events such as innovation expos, solution showcases, hackathons.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Experience working in the financial industry / banking operations, or a related field
• Experience with AI / ML and “no-code/low code” tools (such as Alteryx, UiPath, Instabase).  
• Strong analytical skills and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business problems - A working knowledge of basic project management skills/Agile methodology is highly valued.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Strong communication skills, presentations skills and interpersonal skills including ability to articulate technical and non-technical information.
