What you'll do...

We support W+ program for Walmart, which entails developing and maintaining the membership service and all the supporting functions around membership benefits. We are venturing out to build new membership capabilities that are going to be critical for Walmart to further enhance the penetration of the product.

Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.

What you'll do:

• Create/configure minimalistic code for entire component/application and ensure the components are meeting business/technical requirements, non functional requirements with low maintainability and high-availability needs. 

• Create simple, modular, extensible and functional design in adherence to the requirements for multiple products/solutions in the domain.

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of the requirements/updates/modifications to create long term solutions to meet the requirements. 

• Contribute to the design of of reusable frameworks/processes to capture business/customer requirements. 

• Map the customer requirements into test objectives and create well covered test cases around the functional requirements.

• Ensure that test cases cover all the test scenarios. 

What you'll bring:

• Strong in coding in any programming language - Java preferred.

• Good knowledge around backend technologies (like  Spring Suite, SpringBoot, REST-API, cosmos, Kafka,  Azure/GCP cloud stack, GraphQL).

• Good knowledge around architecture patterns, good to have technological experience architecting REST and GQL API services.

• Demonstrates good ownership, coding and driving solutions for best in class membership service solve for unique integration problems with our partners

• Design solutions that are customer centric and highly scalable.

• Strong with Cloud architecture patterns.

• Strong with cloud DB technologies, experience building applications.
