What We Need: We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team. The Product Marketing Senior Manager will oversee a dynamic team, align resources with company goals, and drive the success of HNI’s product portfolios. This role provides strategic leadership throughout the portfolio lifecycle, ensuring alignment with market demands and organizational goals. What You Will Do:
- Lead a team of Product Managers spanning multiple product categories and provide strategic leadership and mentorship, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, emphasizing professional development and skill enhancement for managers and individual contributors.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept and development to launch and end of life, implementing best practices for efficient lifecycle management and product development.
- Inspire development and ownership of multiple, comprehensive product portfolio strategies that consider the broader market to align with overall corporate strategy.
- Communicate effectively with senior and executive leadership, presenting product strategies, performance metrics and portfolio optimization.
- Advance in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer requirements and new product opportunities.
- Collaborate with finance leadership to manage budgets related to resource allocation, departmental spending, and product development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the product management function, implementing process enhancements and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership and review work of assigned members. Conduct performance evaluations and recommend merit increases, promotions, transfers, corrective actions, and other personnel actions. Interview and recommend candidates for employment. Drive member engagement.
- Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience is required; 10 years of experience preferred.
