Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates operating health centers across the U.S. Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit membership organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education.

Planned Parenthood Action Fund is the advocacy and political arm of PPFA. For over 100 years, Planned Parenthood has done more than any other organization in the United States to improve women’s health and safety, prevent unintended pregnancies, and advance the right and ability of individuals and families to make informed and responsible health care decisions. Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) seeks a creative and collaborative Data Services Manager. This job reports to the Associate Director, Data Engineering and Reporting in the Organizing, Engagement, and Campaigns (OEC) department of PPFA. The Data, Analytics, and Research Team provides strategic, data-driven guidance to OEC and the Policy, Campaigns, and Advocacy division and supports the critical work of the Federation, Action Fund, Votes, and local Planned Parenthood organizations to conduct equitable, efficient, and effective campaigns.
Purpose : This role will be responsible for the primary support and training functions of the team and includes interfacing with affiliates and federation staff on tools support and coaching. The position is also responsible for all training from the Data and Analytics team and support for additional national-level trainings. The Manager is responsible for solving non-routine and varied use cases on behalf of the user community and helping to lead system upgrades and release management and training. The Manager provides clear and user-friendly communication, prompt and thorough technical support, strategic guidance, and best practices to Planned Parenthood EveryAction VAN and Hustle users through the help desk ticketing system, documentation, and regular virtual training sessions Delivery : · Act as lead dispatcher and first responder for the internal ticket management system used for support cases relating to PPFA’s organizing and supporter management tools EveryAction, VAN, and Hustle. Manage user engagement and proactive communications · Develop robust technical support and training procedures and processes on tool and data use, best practices, and new features. Provides ongoing training and support via online support desk cases, written documentation, live and filmed webinars, and in-person meetings and trainings. · Administer affiliate and national staff accounts and access levels on data management systems · Assist with synchronization of digital and field data platforms · Support training calendar events and provide support for cross-departmental training team· Prioritize data equity across trainings and partnerships· Develop and streamline Federation training registration and event management. Project manage training curricula design. Create and update centralized national technical training resources for Affiliate and National system users, including DART blog and Intranet site, and system documentation guides · Provide input and ensure compliance of best practices in development of curricula · Develop and project manage field support tools Engagement:· Provide timely, comprehensive support and training to 4,000+ affiliate organizing and data staff on data management systems, field data management best practices, and targeting, including tool VAN, EveryAction, P2P Texting, and Tableau Reports · Collaborate with vendors and consultants to implement field programs in an organiz
