Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled senior credit analyst to join our team. The senior credit analyst will be responsible for managing complex credit analysis projects, evaluating creditworthiness of clients, and making recommendations to our senior management team. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Five plus years of experience and credit analysis or related field 

 

Preferred Skills/Qualifications: 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
• Knowledge of credit analysis software and techniques.
• Familiarity with credit risk management principles and practices.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Leadership and mentorship skills 

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and conduct complex credit analysis projects, including both financial and non-financial data. Evaluate the creditworthiness of clients and make recommendations to senior management on credit decisions.
• Monitor credit limits and payment terms for existing clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and credit bureaus.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address credit related issues and improve credit processes.
• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to mitigate credit risk.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and changes in regulations related to credit analysis and risk management.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior credit analyst.
