Equipment Mechanic II or III - Granbury Maintenance

TxDOT's Fort Worth District is seeking an Equipment Mechanic II or III based in Granbury, TX. This position supports TxDOT's mission by maintaining and repairing a wide range of wheeled vehicles, including passenger vehicles, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, and construction equipment. Fleet mechanics play a critical role in keeping Texas moving. We support daily operations and respond to emergency and inclement weather events that impact communities across the state. This position is open to both experienced mechanics and those looking to develop their skills in a structured, supportive environment.

Salary Grade: 

Equipment Mechanic II: $50,000 - $60,000

Equipment Mechanic III: $60,000 - $70,000

This position is for 1 (one) Equipment Mechanic II, or III. The Texas Department of Transportation reserves the right in determining the level of position based on the applicant's work experience, education, skill level and all other appropriate factors, and based on business needs.
