Position Description:

This role is pivotal in managing the entire lifecycle of diverse equipment, including pumps, actuators, compressors, and decoking equipment. As a key player in our team, you'll collaborate closely with team leads, following detailed work instructions and maintaining thorough documentation. Your expertise in inspections and component condition reporting will be crucial, ensuring every aspect of our work meets our high standards. Responsibilities:
Safely conduct pump assembly, repair, and testing of pumps and components
Conduct collaboration and teamwork with the existing assembly, testing, and repair team
Precision assembly of OH pumps, BB pumps and Vertical Pumps
Perform repairs on pumps including decontamination and disposition
Perform Hot Work assemblies and disassembles
Actively participate in CIP projects to improve department metrics such as Safety, OTP, efficiency, etc.
Trouble shoot and actively participate with the collaboration process on trouble jobs
Operate low pressure air tester and high-pressure Hydro tests on pumps
Following the pressure testing safety procedure, perform hydro-testing on flanges and cases
Measure critical features such as register fits, sleeve bores, bolt torque, face flatness, and any other mechanical feature as called out on the detail drawing.
Perform Inventory and Warehouse functions in support of material movement, including loading and unloading
Actively participate in personal development
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience with rotating equipment
- Mechanical knowledge of hand tools
- Have a strong understanding of instrumentation and gaging
- Understanding of plumbing components and fitting
- Ability to read General Assemblies and Cross-Sectional drawings
- Maintain safety, zero incident mindset
- Promoting a trusting team atmosphere and group collaboration
- Good communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexibility to change direction to meet changing business needs
Preferred:
- Machining experience on lathes and mills preferred
- Competent computer skills preferred
- Trade school, automation training, or other education encouraged
