Database Administrator - Mid

Amentum is searching for a Top-Secret cleared Database Administrator (Mid) to join our team in Washington, DC. You will be working in an organization that’s mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section leverages agile and works to provide enhanced reporting and global searching capabilities to facilitate task management, cross-utilization, and address national intelligence priorities while protecting confidential data and sources.

The Database Administrator (Mid) is a part of a team that will lead large scale data analysis projects to design and deliver on premises and cloud-based applications. The Database Administrator (Mid) is responsible to design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases. You will maintain database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design. You will administer and test computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. The Database Administrator (Mid) will coordinate changes to computer databases and may plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.

Responsibilities:

Designs, implements, and maintains moderately complex databases. Maintains database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design. Administer and test computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Coordinate changes to computer databases. May plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.

Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. Minimum of 5 years’ experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.

Requirements: 
•  Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
•  Minimum of 5 years of experience with 3 years of related technical specialized experience 
•  Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field 
    o  In absence of degree, additional years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements

Clearance Required: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
