About the Job:

The Associate Compensation Analyst plays a key role in administering compensation programs for over 900 of our equity-owned brand restaurants while also providing compensation analysis support to our Restaurant Support Center (RSC). This includes managing and streamlining restaurant bonus payouts, supporting annual salary planning and other year-end activities, conducting and reviewing ongoing job evaluations, providing individual pay decision advisory support, supporting salary survey data management/survey participation, and helping monitor minimum wage compliance. The role will also partner with our broader Total Rewards, People & Culture, and key cross-functional teams to deliver accurate reporting, process improvements, and meaningful compensation insights that support both field and corporate teams.

Salary Range: $77,700 – $91,300 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Responsibilities:

Field (Restaurant) and Restaurant Support Center (RSC) Employee Compensation Administration

  • Administers brand restaurant bonus plan payouts, supports bonus design reviews, and helps conduct system testing and look for operational improvements in partnership with Payroll, HR Information Technology (HRIT), and brand teams.
  • Supports the field US year-end reward process by administering annual salary planning and other year-end awards for field employees. 
  • Assists broader Total Rewards Business Partner (TRPB) team with the RSC (above restaurant) year-end reward process along with ongoing job leveling and individual pay decision advisory service support.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners in Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure ongoing wage compliance, delivers critical compensation updates, and resolves complex bonus and pay-related inquiries.
  • Conducts market benchmarking, trend analysis, and annual survey data collection to drive compensation strategy, ensure alignment with industry best practices, and support decision-making for both field and corporate employees.

Total Rewards Business Partner (TRBP) Team Support

  • Generates and refines reports in collaboration with HRIT, driving improvements in processes and systems to enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Contributes to ongoing TRBP projects by helping with project planning, tracking progress, and providing additional support to ensure successful execution as needed.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience
  • Attention to detail with accuracy and consistency in tasks
  • Systems and process-improvement driven
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret mathematical information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Previous compensation experience or similar role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience and comfort with data management and people systems, including HRIS, Decusoft/Compose or other commissions software
