What you get to do in this role

  • You’ll drive the end-to-end design process from planning through implementation to ensure successful delivery of design operations objectives 

  • Be data and insights-driven in identifying improvements and critical gaps in design processes 

  • Create and implement design processes that can scale within a design organization 

  • Provide clear communication to cross-functional team leads and management regarding project status, resource requirements, issues, and priorities. 

  • Document design operations and working models needed to operationalize processes and gather buy-in from stakeholders 

  • Maintain a strong partnership with Design leadership and cross-functional teams to identify team needs and drive high-priority initiatives 

  • Track capacity and demand across key programs to better communicate resource and project needs or risks

  • Collaborate with a wide variety of internal cross-functional stakeholders to increase the efficiency and efficacy of our product development organization

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of project/program management experience in mid/large size companies, ideally on a design team 

  • Quickly and effectively adjusts to changes in priority, areas of focus, and unforeseen challenges 

  • Demonstrates great communication skills, written and verbal, with a diverse group of stakeholders 

  • Identifies opportunities for operational improvement, and suggests solutions 

  • Ability to independently adjust own work deliverables as priorities shift 

  • Applies Change Management best practices to their initiatives 

  • Exhibits strong self-awareness and provides constructive, actionable feedback to colleagues to maintain collective accountability to ServiceNow values and culture or respect 

Basic Qualifications 

  • BA/BS degree or higher in Business Management, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), Operations and Information Management (OIM) or other equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience working on and managing large projects or programs with cross-functional teams
