Job Summary

The Department of Special Education invites a pool of qualified persons interested in non-tenure-track clinical assistant teaching positions (part-time or full-time) in anticipation of possible openings throughout the 2024-2025 academic year.

The Department emphasizes excellence in teaching and seeks energetic and knowledgeable supervisors and clinical instructors who will teach and support special education major students during their clinical experiences in K-12 classrooms throughout the state of Illinois (students include both traditional and non-traditional students). Students could be majoring in learning and behavior, deaf and hard of hearing, or low vision and blindness. Instruction and supervision can occur remotely, in person, or hybrid based on departmental needs.
