As a Business Analysis Advisor within PNC's Vendor Finance organization, you will sit in Pittsburgh, PA, Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH, or Cincinnati, OH.Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion. This role will have travel between Ohio and Pennsylvania locations--UP TO 3 DAYS OF TRAVEL PER MONTH!!!
This position serves as the primary liaison between technology, business, risk, compliance, and third-party vendors, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on project objectives.
This role is NOT focused on data analytics and report building, rather, the Business Analysis Advisor will be aligned with a software development team to move software features and enhancements forward using Agile frameworks.
The Business Analysis Advisor ensures that risk and compliance requirements are properly embedded into new features, preventing costly regulatory issues and security vulnerabilities. Losing this expertise increases the likelihood of gaps in compliance, which could result in issues or project rework.
*Preferred candidate will have a DEEP KNOWLEDGE of the Software Development Life Cycle, Agile and waterfall methodologies.
*Preferred candidate will have demonstratable experience writing user stories, leading refinement sessions, and assisting with all other agile ceremonies.
Position will be working with ClickServ, which is a dynamic platform requiring continuous updates and coordination with third-party vendors and internal teams. Without a dedicated analyst, existing staff will be overburdened, leading to inefficiencies, project bottlenecks, and potential quality issues.
Business Analysis Advisor will be working with new integrations, major functionality releases, and ongoing enhancements to ClickServ, which requires dedicated business analysis expertise.
Job Description
- Directs the research, discovery, collection and interpretation of business requirements. Participates in the development and review of complex processes and procedures, workflow analytics and reporting. May provide senior level consultation and communicates with clients and technology teams on business designs, problem solving and business analysis to support project goals and objectives.
- Consults and recommends the frameworks, methodologies and processes involved in business requirements traceability for business analysis teams. Independently mentors, leads, and coaches other associates to affect knowledge transfer. Oversees the development and maintenance of all applicable policy and procedure documentation.
- Translates business needs, processes and/or procedures by partnering with applicable experts and business stakeholders to determine and articulate needs. May communicate with senior level stakeholders and technology teams on complex business requirements.
- Leads multiple business analysis project management processes through planning, quality assurance and effectiveness assessment. Provides direction for the successful deployment of projects. Drives the development, analysis and distribution of complex reporting.
