Program Overview:

Platform One, a DoD-wide enterprise service capability intended to make the DoD DevSecOps initiative a reality by leveraging best practices at various classification levels. In support of Platform One, the Jedi Praxium Customer facing team was developed to provide support throughout the customer life-cycle.

 

Position Overview/Responsibilities:

The Jr. Software Engineer will provide programming services for a variety of specific systems and business, military, scientific, or commercial applications. Participate in systems analysis, design definition, software development, system test, implementation, and maintenance. The Jr, Software Engineer will analyze coding problems and develop improvements to procedures. Will design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code(such as HTML, CGI, and Javascript).

 

Requirements:

• Must be able to address the entire software development lifecycle to analyze the needs and then design, test and develop software to meet those needs
• Exercise independent judgment
• Experience in Technical Customer Service, Customer Management, and some experience with escalations
• Apply fundamental concepts, processes, and procedures on technical tasks
• Demonstrated knowledge with one or multiple of the following: Python, React, Node-JS, Java, and other modern cloud-native programming languages
• Cultivate a security first and test first approach to test-driven development
• Create and maintain documentation for implementations
• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
