Warehouse Associate

Company Description: Mountville Rubber Company is a custom rubber mixing business that provides internal and external customers with 45 million pounds of un-cured rubber across several industries from two manufacturing facilities in Lagrange, GA. Annual sales in 2023 totaled $60,000,000.

 

Job Description: The Warehouse Associate will handle the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate inventory, organization, and timely order fulfillment in a warehouse setting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives shipments by unloading and inspecting incoming goods
• Organizes inventory by sorting and storing goods in designated areas
• Prepares orders to ship accurately and timely
• Track inventory levels, update stock locations, and report shortages
• Follow safety protocols and keep the warehouse clean and hazard-free
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move items

 

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years manufacturing experience in a warehouse or logistics environment required
• 2+ yrs experience operating a forklift
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs

 

Working Conditions: This position requires working in a manufacturing environment where personal protective equipment is necessary. 

Shift: 1st (Monday-Friday, 7AM-3PM)

Compensation: $18/hr
