We are excited to find an experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the finance team in reducing the monthly close time by 25% or greater. This allows the executive team to make decisions based on the Company’s financial performance more quickly.
- Contribute to improvements in the financial close process allowing the team to produce extremely high quality monthly financial statements.
- Assist in preparing, interpreting, and reporting on monthly financial results and cost analyses for HighFive. Review financial results of current and prior months, perform variance analyses, and identify trends to make recommendations for improvements.
- Contribute to delivery of financial information to the executive team daily and weekly to provide real-time visibility into the Company’s cash position and accounts receivable.
- Performance of account reconciliations and other workpapers relating to month-end close.
- Assist in preparation of daily and weekly reports used by executive team.
- Complete weekly cash flow forecasting and assist with cash management.
- Review clinical transactions and expense reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in accounting or finance?.
- One to two years of recent public accounting or industry experience.
- Thorough knowledge of standard accounting systems and accepted accounting principles.
- Ability to produce numerous financial reports and statements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations.
- Excellent planning, observation, and organization skills.
- Ability to problem solve and think analytically.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Realistic scheduling and observance of deadlines.
- Must be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.

Preferred Qualifications
- CPA (Optional)
- Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software (Optional)
