As the Assistant Director of Corporate FP&A, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic growth plans, ensuring financial integrity, and standardizing FP&A processes across the organization. 

 

Location: Merchants Fleet Headquarters in Hooksett, NH

 

What your day looks like: 

  • Manage Corporate Business Partner and Center of Excellence to support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes. 
  • Lead initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency in budgeting and forecasting alongside the CoE. 
  • Standardize and improve FP&A processes to establish best-in-class practices. 
  • Spearhead initiatives for updating and expanding documentation of FP&A processes. 
  • Collaborate with FP&A business partners to develop standardized financial and business reporting methodologies. 
  • Institute a robust governance framework to ensure clarity in roles, responsibilities, and decision-making in the forecasting process. 
  • Drive change management initiatives across business units to ensure successful implementation of process enhancements. 
  • Maintain budget/forecast files in Planful and potentially revamp for greater accuracy. 
  • Support long-range financial planning, analysis, and modeling across all financial statements for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Present analysis of monthly financial trends and variances to Directors/Managers and Senior Leadership. 
  • Serve as a trusted business partner, preparing presentations, reports, and analysis for Business Unit Leaders.

The experience and education you bring: 

  • Minimum of a BS in Finance with strong knowledge in Accounting or Finance 
  • Minimum 7 years of professional financial experience or equivalent industry knowledge. 
  • Proficiency in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and planning. 
  • Experience driving continuous process improvement. 
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
