About the role

OCI's Containers, Serverless and Kubernetes team is looking for an experienced TPM to serve as Chief of Staff. In this role, you will manage the team's rhythm of the business, drive key initiatives across the finish line and facilitate the team's success through solid working relationships across Oracle. Your projects and tasks will be varied. They may be complex and ambiguous, simple and urgent, or something in between. The ideal candidate would be a highly organized self-starter who can take initiative and drive accountability while maintaining strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • A passion for your team's success and by extension its customers' success
  • 8+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and programs
  • 4+ years of experience establishing, maintaining and improving operational processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or equivalent

  • Experience with Containers, Serverless and Kubernetes
  • Proven track record of driving change across organizational boundaries and influencing without direct authority
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) at all levels across an organization
  • Ability to think broadly and strategically
  • Ability to exercise high-judgment in a variety of situations
  • Solution-oriented; able to exercise creativity within constraints in service of the best possible outcome for both customers and employees
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment
  • Operations: You will drive the rhythm of the business, including reviews, leadership meetings, strategy sessions while thinking holistically and strategically about key business processes, organizational effectiveness and efficiency, employee engagement, and organizational communications.
  • Strategic Initiatives: You will create, implement and track strategic plans, developing KPIs and success metrics where required. 
  • Process Improvement: You will identify, drive and track progress of process and tooling improvement initiatives.
  • Force Multiplier: Success is dependent on cross-functional and cross-organization relationships; good relationships start with empathy and trust. You will identify stakeholder relationships to build and effectively partner with to facilitate the success of your role and the organization’s mission.
  • Culture and People: You will work closely with HR and the leadership team to identify, analyze, develop and execute strategies to improve team health and morale as indicated by employee feedback, from personal observation, or other employee listening systems.

US: Hiring Range: from $104,000 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
