Title: Senior Database Administrator
Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 5-8 years
Work Location: Massachusetts - Norflok
Work Mode: Hybrid
Requirements:
• Maintain, monitor, optimize, secure and document Databases (on-prem and cloud based)
• Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures
• Optimizes queries, views, and triggers for integration with other applications
• Review and interpret ongoing business requirements
• Develop stored procedures and scripts for data migration.
• Design and develop integrations among applications
• Writes instructions for testing and implementing new applications in the database environment
• Analyze current and future database projects for performance requirements, fine-tuning, and recommended enhancements when necessary. This includes but is not limited to upgrades and database maintenance
• Collaborate with the developers in designing, developing, and adding features to programs
• Troubleshoot production issues according to service level targets
• Provide great customer service
• Use standard application development best practices
• Maintain knowledge of database technology through training courses, seminars, and publications
• Design always on architecture for all Database systems
• Owns high availability of critical databases and backup
• Resolves DB problems when they arise
