Technical Project Manager / Service Manager, Data & AI

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (or Service Manager) to lead our data-driven projects. 

In this role, you will lead projects or services together with your team. Our teams are designed to deliver complete solutions independently. A typical team includes Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse experts, an architect, and a project manager. Together, we deliver comprehensive data solutions tailored to our customers’ needs, and, we would love for you to lead one of these teams!

While project management involves administrative tasks, we hope you are also willing to get hands-on, for example, by contributing to definitions or picking up development tasks from the backlog. The balance between technical and administrative work is flexible and can be adjusted based on your preferences. What matters most is successfully completing projects in close collaboration with your team.

Since our customers’ needs vary, we can also shape your role to focus more on either project management or service management, depending on your career interests. Whether you prefer one-off project deliveries or ongoing collaboration with familiar clients, the choice can be yours.

Our way of working is flexible: you can choose 100% remote, hybrid, or office-based – whichever suits your life best. Our offices are located across Finland, in Espoo, Tampere, Vaasa, Seinäjoki, Kuopio, Jyväskylä and Kempele, so you can always drop by and meet your colleagues face-to-face.

What is required to succeed in the task?

We expect you to bring experience in data-driven projects and strong communication skills. You should be comfortable leading a team while keeping your customers happy. The most important factor for success is your knowledge of what the stages of a data project are and how to successfully bring projects to the finish line.

What skills we expect from you:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Service Manager in data projects (or strong technical background with some PM experience)
• Good understanding of DW, ETL, fact tables and KPIs
• Excellent Finnish language skills (spoken & written)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with agile ways of working
• Solution-oriented mindset and resilience under pressure

In addition, these are beneficial:

• Client-side experience (e.g. product owner, buyer, reporting superuser)
• Certifications (ITIL, Scrum, IPMA, technical certificates)
• Background in Power BI development or Microsoft Fabric
• Some experience as a Data Engineer or DW developer
