Senior Integration Engineer (VA-ESOM)

IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer, Sr. to support our VA-ESOM- End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States.

A Senior Integration Engineer must have experience in the creation of strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems/subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained. The integration engineer must be experienced in introducing new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks.

Responsibilities:

• Provide system change proposals and alternative solutions to current or newly requested processing requirements.
• Work in ServiceNow and submit change requests for approval and implementation.
• Assist with the integration of disparate data systems across the VA to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility, to include designing and implementing custom Application Programming Interface (APIs), upgrading legacy systems to support modern data exchange standards, and ensuring data integrity during the transfer processes.
• Assist in the coordination of major system upgrades to introduce new functionalities and improve system efficiencies, involving careful planning and execution to minimize downtime and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
• Deliver a System Upgrade and Integration Report that details the integration efforts undertaken, the systems upgraded, the challenges encountered, and the benefits realized from these activities made during the year. This report shall also assess the impact of these upgrades on overall system performance and user satisfaction, with a roadmap for future integration and upgrade projects

Locations: Austin Information Technology Center, or other locations in United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline
• 10 years of relevant Experience
• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

Clearance requirement

• US Citizen or Green card holder
• Willing and able to get a Public Trust Suitability clearance
