Job Description Summary: The Customer Master Data Specialist is responsible for the creation and maintenance of customer setups in our integrated enterprise system (SAP) and our bulk dispatch system (ALTO - Air Liquide Transport Organizer).  The Customer Master Data Specialist will be responsible to set up accounts in both systems to ensure the smooth on-boarding of new customers and changes to existing customers.  The Customer Master Data Specialist will work closely with our Regional Companies, our Finance team, our Logistics teams and our Distribution teams to assist with issues related to the account setup and the delivery of our bulk products. 

• Create and maintain SAP master data in the areas of the Customer Master/Pricing and other related areas in SAP.

• Support training and communication of functional master data standards, definitions, processes, policies and tools to internal Airgas associates.

• Review/analyze incoming master data requests to determine desired outcome and proper course of action to take.

• Investigate customer accounts in SAP, researching Ship To level, Sold To level and Billing/Payer structure as it relates to the Partnership functionality of customer’s account.

• Work with other departments and/or teams, ( i.e. A/R, Tax, Accounting, A/P, Sales, etc.) to coordinate master data requirements to ensure data consistency and integrity.

• Obtain, analyze, and process all field generated requests related to new customer pricing agreements and changes to existing customer pricing agreements.

• Maintain pricing database for sales organizations including daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance items. Accountable for validation of all pricing inputs.

• Effectively communicate to Division support staff and field associates of any pricing discrepancies and/or issues in a timely manner.

• Manage requests for the first fills to our customers by proper setup and communication to the Logistics and Distribution teams to ensure flawless on-boarding of new and existing accounts. This includes calculating and inputting cost based on mileage, expected volume, and tank size. 

• Provide support to customers who utilize our 800 phone line and group email box.  These requests and inquiries require the individual to have a thorough understanding of the entire Airgas organization.

• Assist field personnel with issues related to validation and data issues in SAP and ALTO.

• Assist with shift auditing issues in ALTO, which includes reviewing telemetry readings, analyzing trailer weights, and computing GPI.

• Process requests for PO or pricing updates on new and existing accounts.

• Provide proof of delivery documents and manage the imaging system for these documents.

• Utilize multiple tools to analyze and validate data to ensure the accuracy and quality of customer master data.

• Preparation and review of daily and monthly reports.

Required Qualifications

• High school degree/GED.
