Job Description
The Bosch-Rexroth R&D organization in Fountain Inn, SC is looking for a project manager to be part of our North American electrification team. The candidate will work closely with customers, engineering and sales to ensure the timely development of customer requirements, ensuring the quality processes are adhered to, and that the post-development requirements are met. The candidate must be excited to take the lead and coordinate different functions across countries and organizations. Experience with understanding customer requirements pertaining hydraulic and/or electric and electronic equipment in the off-highway field is highly desirable. Travel nationally and internationally may be required in a limited capacity ~5%.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities may include the following
- Lead technical and non-technical aspects of customer projects from conception to delivery
- Coordinate with sales, customers, and partners to define expectations and responsibilities
- Coordinate with engineering to determine effort & other supporting technical work
- Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering to determine inventory, flashing and testing to determine prototype and series lead times
- Clearly communicate across all stakeholders our ability to meet delivery and escalate accordingly if deliverables cannot be met
- Lead project meetings to meet all deliverables outlined above
- Act as coordinator for inter-plant component purchases required for every project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with project management tools
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of prior project management/data processing experience
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, perform in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to situations as they arise
- Excellent analytical, attention to detail and organizational skills are an absolute must
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Expertise with electric components on an engineering development setting is a plus
