Under the direct supervision of the Infrastructure and Security Manager, the Junior Systems Administrator will provide advanced Active Directory, Entra, and Hardware and Software support in a challenging office environment as well as supporting multiple remote facilities. Some travel may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
· Troubleshooting network, server, LAN/WAN, hardware and software.
· Active Directory/Entra administration for user changes or updates.
· Software/systems/server administration.
· Mobile device administration and management.
· Software and hardware inventory accuracy.
· Desktop and End-User support.
· Office 365 Administration
· Ability to work independently, evaluate priorities and respond in a challenging and dynamic environment.
· Perform technical support to internal customers to ensure swift service restoration on a variety of systems and applications
· Identify, enforce, and suggest possible improvements on procedures, policies and guidelines.
· Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in Information System or Computer Science or an equivalent of 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
· 5+ years’ experience with system administration and/or end-user support
· Intermediate experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
· Intermediate software/systems administration.
· Intermediate skill with mobile device administration and management.
· Intermediate Software and hardware inventory accuracy.
· Intermediate experience with Microsoft 365
· Experience creating technical documentation.
· Experience testing and implementing new technologies.
· Experience with Windows Operating Systems (imaging, repair, installation, troubleshooting, upgrading).
· Experience with desktop hardware and common desktop software required for corporate environments.
· Experience with troubleshooting network, server, LAN/WAN, hardware and software.
· Microsoft Azure experience preferred
· Demonstrated patience and overall courteous behavior when working with internal and external customers.
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to understand the customer’s needs and communicate technical issues in non-technical terms
· Demonstrated ability to work independently; must be self-motivated and goal oriented.
· Superior organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to multitask and appropriately handle/escalate tasks with conflicting priorities.
· Have a passion for teamwork and problem solving.
