Are you passionate about caregiving and only looking to commit to every third weekend on-call? Apply to join the Good Shepherd Assisted Living/Memory Care team today! In addition to joining an excellent team, on-call HHA’s will be eligible for a variety of benefits including a $100 stipend for completed on-call weekends and up to an additional $10/HR in pickup bonuses. Looking for more hours? Additional shifts can be picked up on top of on-call weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting and dressing
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful leisure pursuits
- Assist residents with ambulation, transfers and exercise
- Assist in medication administration under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse
- Record data in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR) and report any changes of resident status to RN
- Perform light homemaking duties such as cleaning, cooking, etc.
- On-call duties will take place on both the Sauk Rapids and Becker Campuses
On-Call Schedule
- On-call will be scheduled every third weekend and every third holiday
- On-call hours include 4:30 P.M. Friday to 8:00 A.M. Monday
Benefits
- A $100 on-call stipend will be awarded upon the completion of the on-call weekend (provided all requirements are met)
- Shift Differential: Additional $1.00/HR Evening and $1.25/HR Overnight
- Eligible for overtime pay and pickup bonuses up to an additional $10/HR as applicable

Qualifications
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred
- Active on the MN CNA Registry OR documentation of having taken the Nursing Assistant 75-Hour Course required
- Must be at least 18 years old
