The Manufacturing Leader for the Diaphragm COE (Center of Excellence) will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. The Manufacturing Leader will manage approximately 3 salary & 11 dotted line salaried and 113 hourly team members.

Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Develop COE strategic vision, communicate to team members / stakeholders, and engage teams to optimize performance.
- Provide leadership across the COE to meet customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
- Partner cross-functionally to align priorities and drive greatest customer outcomes while maximizing business results.
- Analyze production labor requirements, implementing appropriate capacity decisions within COE budget.
- Drive key initiatives including EHS, Six Sigma, shop productivity, lean, and inventory cycle reductions.
- Work with customers, functional leaders, and internal staff to meet organizational requirements.
- Provide leadership development and performance feedback to COE.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges, implement large impactful simplification efforts, and drive product cost.
- Direct process / product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization.
- Develop team members by providing growth opportunities, mentoring, and appropriate coaching.
- Provide ongoing feedback to team members, build trusting relationships and be a motivator for positive change and growth.
- Ensure communication of key business / customer issues to employees
- Interface with other organizations and vendors to assure requirements are met on time.
- Lead Lean Action Workout Teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Manufacturing leadership experience.
- A minimum 10 years of manufacturing or supply chain related experience.
Additional:
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
- This position is an on-site role at our GE Gas Power Bangor, ME location.
- Relocation assistance only considered from within the USA.

Pay Transparency
The base pay range for this position is $122,600-180,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
