The Opportunity:

That’s why we need you, a seasoned program manager who can ensure our program achieves success.

As a lead program manager on our team, you’ll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by guiding a dynamic team responsible for developing, integrating, and testing digital solutions to create emerging technologies and products for the next generation Warfighter.

You'll perform as a senior member in our elite Digital Battlespace Platform (DBP) team to lead our engineering efforts and build next generation technologies for our defense clients. You'll serve as a Special Operations advisor and Operational Subject Matter Expert (SME). You'll work alongside leadership to ensure Soldier solutions are fully integrated to increase business capability and value, reduce cost and risk, foster innovation, and maximize accountability and return on investment. You'll interact frequently with internal and external management and senior-level customer representatives concerning Booz Allen client projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and contractual clarifications. You'll advise organizational leadership on how to implement emerging technologies and work alongside leadership to ensure Soldier solutions are fully integrated on a continuous basis to increase mission capability and value to our clients. You'll maintain responsibility for planning and managing programs in conjunction with the client to execute the development of a complex program from design phase through implementation. You'll interpret identified configuration management and documentation requirements and convert to program deliverables. You'll ensure effective communication between technical and non–technical functions within the program. You'll coordinate and document project schedules, monitor budget, and assign tasks in accordance with client requirements. You'll also keep the client informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected project results.

Defense clients will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As an authority in the DBP Account, you’ll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client’s mission. You’ll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in senior level leadership positions within the Special Operations community

  • Experience as an Advisor to a Commanding General on policy and operational matters pertaining to the training and employment of units within a Special Forces Command

  • Experience as a Senior Enlisted Leader of a Special Forces Battalion, responsible for the conduct, culture, and performance of Special Forces Teams, Special Forces Company Headquarters, and Support Companies with an emphasis on leader development and personnel management

  • Experience with leadership-centric training, lessons learned, and SOF, JOINT, and Interagency mission planning

  • Experience with leading Special Operations units in austere and ambiguous environments and advising on strategic design and integration of Unconventional Warfare for Special Operations-relevant missions

  • Knowledge of competencies within the disciplines of applied leadership, business communications, and national security

  • Knowledge of planning and implementation of finances, materials, personnel, and resources, including onboarding personnel and senior level management at a Battalion size Special Operations element

  • Ability to identify and establish regular communications with DoD Special Operations personnel who are stakeholders in the resulting system

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED
