What You’ll Learn & Be Exposed To

As a Workday Support Intern, you will gain practical experience across multiple Workday functional areas, including:

Job Description

  • Support the ongoing maintenance and organization of the Workday system, including system components, data, and structural elements

  • Help keep the system clean, accurate, and operating efficiently

  • Assist with reporting, audits, testing, and basic troubleshooting activities

  • Participate in a variety of projects with clear priorities, defined goals, and mentorship

  • Document processes and support materials to improve system usability and consistency

  • Collaborate with HR Technology and HR Partners to understand downstream impacts

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Strong interest in HR technology, HRIS systems, and digital transformation within HR

  • Familiarity with HR processes (ex: recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, performance management) is a plus

  • Exposure to or interest in Workday or other HR systems is preferred but not required

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing data

  • Understanding of ETL concepts and data integration processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading between systems

  • Ability to work with data, including basic data analysis, validation, reporting, and/or auditing

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data tools or reporting dashboards is a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processes and explain technical concepts to non-technical users

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

  • Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to evolving technology and business needs

  • Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential employee data
