General Maintenance

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for keeping our facilities looking like GOLD. (Grand Opening Look Daily). In addition, the General Maintenance/Custodial worker will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• General maintenance tasks as assigned
• Ensuring that spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces
• Sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets
• Washing and sanitizing toilets, sinks and showers and restocking disposable.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of general maintenance experience preferred, including basic carpentry, electrical work, and heavy-duty custodial tasks such as floor polishing and maintenance

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
