Staff Civil Engineer

ARA is seeking a staff civil engineer in our office at 2217 W Braker Ln, Austin, TX (Travis County).

This position provides engineering consulting and research support to federal, state, and local transportation agencies. Consulting services include pavement design and analysis, pavement management, and the development of pavement-related software tools, both for in-house use and as client deliverables. Engineering research services involve using pavement engineering and material concepts, statistical analysis, experimental design, and data mining. Duties include, but are not limited to, interpreting pavement-related testing data, network- and project-level pavement performance data, and database development. Anticipated travel is 5-10%.

Requires a master's degree in Civil Engineering. Must have credits in pavement engineering subjects and thesis/academic research in pavement design, planning, and/or construction.
