- Our Vancouver, WA location is looking for a Full-Time Parts Helper!
- This is a Monday-Friday position with the shift of 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with opportunity of daily and weekend overtime!

Summary of Position:
The purpose of this job is to place parts in vehicles prior to install.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Tasks:
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as
- Communicate with lead when additional parts are needed
- Deleting accessories on work orders due to lack of parts (as needed)
- Drive fork lift to stock parts
- Follow all safety guidelines and attend safety meetings
- Keep Leads, Managers and others informed of significant issues
- Log processed work into computer program or tracking system as required
- Meet or exceed established production and quality standards
- Notify lead if the customer removed accessories for the parts are
- Open stock parts as needed
- Order and replace defective parts for installers
- Performs job in a safe manner
- Place correct accessories into the trunk/hatch of each vehicle (Read work order to verify what accessories are needed)
- Read and understand VIN numbers, repair orders, purchase orders, purge sheets, and other documents to complete work
- Recognize standard accessories for each model and add if work order is incorrect based on Customer specifications
- Utilize radio to communicate with Leads and management personnel in a professional manner
- Verify that the correct work orders have been placed in vehicles (Check VIN on work order against VIN plate located on the vehicles dash)
- Visually verifies that vehicle is damage free
- Work as part of a team
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- Daily clean up
- Ensure work area is kept in a clean and in an orderly fashion
- Notify supervisor of any workplace hazards or unsafe conditions
- Participate in facility safety efforts by attending monthly safety meetings, report accidents and injuries on appropriate forms, and communicates the procedure to all appropriate customers/vendors and AWC personnel
- Understand policies, including but not limited to company safety policies
- Upkeep and maintenance of work area
- Work with limited supervision
- Other duties assigned by supervisor
