About the role

Our partner is seeking a Sr. Capture Manager in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply expertise across the business development life cycle, from opportunity qualification through strategic capture, proposal development, and execution.
  • Utilize extensive community relationships within VA, DHA, and other health care-related organizations to obtain client meetings, gain opportunity intelligence, and influence solicitation.
  • Lead all phases of capture activities, including win strategy development, competitive assessments, pricing strategy, and integrated timeline planning.
  • Drive market-based competitive intelligence, market assessments, client assessments, and strategic planning efforts to expand specific client-based opportunity portfolios and pipeline.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, keep the business leadership team informed, and engage in advancing strategic partnerships with clients and industry partners.
  • Travel to meetings with Government officials and the corporate office in Annapolis, MD, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a healthcare-related, business, technology, communications, or scientific field.
  • Ten years of business development/capture management experience, with a focus on capturing healthcare services/staffing opportunities at VA, DHA, DHHS, and other Federal, State, and Local healthcare organizations.
  • Each additional two years of experience can substitute for one year of education.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Relevant health care-related business development and Capture Manager experience with VA and DHA, preferably with Health and Human Services, Bureau of Prisons, and other State and Local Healthcare-related Government organizations.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in the Federal, State, and Local Government healthcare industry and program operations.
  • Experience with federal contracting, federal acquisition regulations (FAR), prime and/or subcontractor teaming arrangements, and proposal development.
  • Knowledge of government solicitation documents, including standard RFP/RFQ structure.
  • Proven leadership skills, facilitation, and consensus-building skills.
  • Ability to create technical content specific to proposal needs.
  • Ability to travel for meetings.
