POSITION: CAGE CASHIER

Hourly Rate: $15.00 - $19.50                       FLSA Status: Full-Time                     Non-Exempt

Two Kings Casino is hiring a Cage Cashier to join our team. Cage Cashiers handle large amounts of currency, cash checks, redeem tickets, vouchers, table games chip to guests in a professional manner displaying a high standard of guest service.

Work Experience

• Handle large sums of money in an accurate manner, including validating tickets for guests and paying accordingly, distributing cash to associates for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers’ checks, providing check approval, check cashing service and cash advance services.
• Maintain an accurate count of drawers.
• Perform regular cash buys to Cage Supervisor.
• Issue and redeem chips, process chip fills and credits.
• Write, verify, make payouts on winning sportsbook tickets and cash vouchers in accordance with department policy and procedures.
• Perform as a team member and assist fellow employees to ensure a smooth operation.
• Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:

• Experience handling large amounts of money.
• Six months’ cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent organization and guest service skills.
• Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a Gaming License.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds.
• Exposure to high volume noise.
