Job Description

We are looking for a rock star Senior Business Operations Analyst to support the operations of the IT Operations Management (ITOM) business unit (BU). The ITOM BU represents the 2nd largest business at ServiceNow and is part of the fast-growing market space of AIOps/Observability. In this role, you will work closely with executives, product management, finance & accounting, product marketing, sales and other cross-functional teams to plan and execute, assess the changing needs of the business and provide solutions that help achieve business goals.

This role reports to the Director, Strategic Operations ITOM & ITSM.

Responsibilities

  • Support budget planning activities and provide hands-on budget management with meticulous attention to detail and diligent follow-through.
  • Drive high profile initiatives for the ITOM organization, leveraging project management best practices, as needs emerge.
  • Create content and presentation decks for quarterly business reviews, all hands and other key operational meetings.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiencies across business units. Provide structure and implement necessary processes without compromising efficient execution.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, project/program management, finance or consulting; Experience in enterprise SaaS preferred; PMP certification a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or similar field required; MBA preferred
  • Ability to operate effectively and autonomously in a fast-paced, matrixed. environment under sometimes ambiguous circumstances with minimal direction.
  • Excellent meeting planning and facilitation skills; Exemplary written and verbal communication skills with the ability to concisely communicate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • A results-oriented mindset focused on outcomes, continual improvement and thinking in terms of progress towards the larger goal.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and leveraging tools of the trade, such as productivity tools and project management applications.
  • Ability to use data to measure success: learn, iterate, and improve; analyze trends and develop proactive actions to further support business objectives.
  • High energy, positive attitude, contagious enthusiasm and a sense of humor that helps you to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $94,410 - $155,790, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
