Job Overview:
The Sr. Analyst of Operations/R&D is responsible, in parallel of supporting the Sr Manager R&D operations, for managing the content for the design and development of Operational Procedures for new and enhanced products and processes across Burger King, Americas. The position also manages the process of feedback, smallware kits, project management and presenting Ops R&D during meetings. In addition, the role works with other functions within the organization including Culinary, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain project trackers and produce routine updates on progress of key workstreams
- Charged with identifying opportunities and areas for improvement to best support the goals of improved Ops standards.
- Manage and evaluate innovation pipeline assisting strategic decision-making and Go-to-Market process.
- Gather information and develop checklist, to hand off to analyst for the development of operational materials for products going to market test and or National
- support different cross-functional programs and projects of varied sizes and types concurrently.
- Influence strategic informal and formal communication with cross functional teams
- Support in development of presentation decks
- Cross-functional alignment with internal partners (e.g. Culinary, Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance) and working with external suppliers to bring products to market and resolve issues with existing products
- Document product innovation strategy, managing timelines on the development and launch of new products/packaging and the renovation of existing products
- Routinely spend time at the restaurant for training and leanings on the operations
- Concept and product testing to provide operational insights and validation to innovation ideas
- Apply existing and new solutions in creative ways to address complex issues and problem
- Work closely with the restaurant team to develop and maintain consistent high standards for system wide execution
- Constantly analyzes current restaurant performance for improvement and enhancements

- Influential in relationships with external stakeholders (Franchisees and vendors) and internal partners (Field teams Marketing, etc.).

- Ability to influence senior leaders in the organization and across different cross functional groups

- Fluent in both written and conversational English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years of previous experience in food product innovation in the fast food / restaurant industry, or in a Consumer Goods company
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience, operations or client success roles preferred (internship experience considered)
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, preferably in Food Science / Food Engineering / Nutritio
